PRESENTATION DECK: About Your Presentation Deck and Handouts
Q. Is there a standardized PowerPoint template provided for the EOS Conference?
A. Yes. If you are preparing your content specifically for the conference and do not have a standardized PowerPoint, one will be provided. If your presentation is specifically branded and formatted to support your presentation, you may use your branded deck upon review and approval by the programming team.
Q. Is there a cover slide for the EOS Conference?
A. Yes. EVERY presentation will need to have the opening and closing slides for the conference inserted. These slides include recognition of our sponsors. These slides are added to the final presentation you submit and will be loaded onto the computer in your session room.
Q. Do I need to submit my presentation in advance?
A. Yes. There are two times that you submit your presentation. First, in draft for an EOS Purity check, and then a final submission.
Feb 11: EOS Purity Check, please send your presentation to Julie Sedick. This does not have to be your final presentation; a working draft is ok.
March 11: Final, corrected presentation due to Julie Sedick.

A. Each room will have a PC computer and projector. Your presentation will be pre-loaded on a computer. All content is deleted from the computer after the conference, for IP protection. A clicker will be provided.
Q. Can I include video in my presentation?
A. Yes. Embed the video into your presentation whenever possible. There is wi-fi; it is not as predictably responsive. When you arrive for your A/V check, inform your production tech that you are using a video. Do a sound check of your video as part of your A/V test.
Q. Can I use my own computer?
A. Yes. Please indicate this preference in your responses on the Speaker Portal. Do bring a backup of your presentation on a thumb drive. You still need to submit your final presentation to EOS Worldwide by March 11.

SESSION ROOM: About Your Session Room
Q. What can I expect about the room I am presenting in?
A. All rooms are set with a projector, lavalier mic, and computer. There will be a water station set up and a literature table for each room. There will be a room monitor in every session to assist you with set-up and address any needs during the presentation.
Q. Can I see a picture of my room before the conference?
A. We do not have photos of the individual session rooms. A layout map will be provided upon request. This venue is ideal for breakouts and was chosen with the quality of the breakout rooms in mind.
Q. Can I do a room check in advance once I am onsite?
A. Yes. Once you arrive, check-in at our registration desk. If your preview time has not already been scheduled, you will be scheduled then. You will have the opportunity to see your room, run through your presentation, and make sure all A/V add-ons are in the room.
YOUR SESSION: About Your Presentation
Q. Will someone introduce me?
A. Breakout presenters will not be formally introduced by someone from the conference team. Please include a few words about yourself at the beginning of your presentation.
Q. How long is my session?
A. Sessions run 60 minutes, including Q&A. You may choose to do Q&A throughout the session or reserve 10-15 minutes for Q&A at the end.
Q. What is the “Best Of” competition?
A. Based on feedback from prior conferences, some presenters create such a buzz that attendees felt they ‘missed out.’ Those who are scheduled on Thursday have an opportunity to be voted as “Best of” by attendees. The top 3 speakers from Thursday will be asked to present their presentation again on Friday. We will help you get additional handouts printed. There is no additional honorarium offered for the second presentation, but you can claim bragging rights. If your presentation is scheduled on Friday, it is due to scheduling requirements only, and no reflection on your ability to participate.
Q. Will my presentation be recorded?
A. Yes, your session will be recorded, and part of your compensation includes the recording of your presentation. After the conference, you will receive the raw footage of your presentation.
Q. What is the quality of the recording if I have opted to receive that?
A. You will receive the raw footage from your presentation. Further editing may be required to use it for your marketing purposes.
Q. May I offer a text reply to the info request service in my presentation?
A. Yes. If you have information or an offer, you may provide a text number to your offer on the last slide. TextMarks, LeadPages, and EZTexting are examples of these services.
Q. Can I offer or promote my book(s)?
A. You may offer your book for sale in the back of their session room before and after your breakout only. Inventory, payment method, and follow-up are your responsibility. Book availability is for attendees’ convenience, as ‘selling’ and promoting outside services is not permitted.
Q. Can I bring my own videographer?
A. No. Another technical person in the room may interfere with the attendee experience. We will not stop anyone from using their phone/device to create videos onsite. We do ask that everyone be aware and not obstruct the view of anyone.
Q. What if people ask me for my presentation?
A. The EOS Conference team will not be distributing presentations or materials for individual sessions. Please provide your contact information and follow up directly with these requests.
Q. Are there rules of engagement?
A. This conference has a return rate of 80%, year over year, because of the exceptional content our speakers provide. (Thank you, in advance!)
Q. Will I get attendee feedback?
A. Yes. Attendee surveys will be offered (electronically) for every breakout and keynote. Feel free to remind attendees of this at the end of your presentation or ask your room monitor to do so. You can expect to receive your feedback within 30 days.
